Suspected terrorist attack in Vienna

Vienna (Austria), November 3: Austria's interior minister says gunmen opened fire in central Vienna, injuring several people in what is believed to be a terrorist attack.
Austrian police have announced that there were shootings at six locations.
Austrian media outlets have reported that the sound of gunshots were heard in an entertainment district of central Vienna at around 8 p.m. local time on Monday.
The interior minister told a local public broadcaster there are several casualties from the assault.
The minister also said that more than one suspect was likely involved in the shooting, and that authorities have launched an investigation into the incident as a terror attack.
Police in Vienna say violence occurred at six places in the city, leaving one dead and several others, including a police officer, injured. One suspect was reportedly shot dead by police.
Local media report that 15 people were taken to hospital.
The shooting took place about 500 meters from St. Stephen's Cathedral, which is one of the landmarks in the Austrian capital.
Local TV aired footage showing people fleeing the scene and an armed man running down the street.
